Hi! I’m Tanesha, a textile designer based in Dallas, originally from Bangalore, India.

I began my artistic journey at the age of five, driven by a profound passion for fine art. Surrounded by India’s vibrant textile heritage during my upbringing, I developed a deep appreciation for handcraft and its cultural significance. This early fascination inspired me to pursue a BFA in Fibers at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where I immersed myself in the intricacies of weaving, embroidery, and surface design.

Today, my practice has evolved into product-focused textile design, where I translate concepts into production-ready designs across a range of constructions.

At Loloi Rugs, I work closely with overseas vendors and licensed brand partners to develop collections from concept through sampling to final product. My work spans cad and product development, as well as color and design direction, with a focus on creating pieces that feel intentional and commercially relevant.

In my personal time, I gravitate towards slower rituals - walking, observing, and finding inspiration in the textures and rhythms of everyday life. These moments quietly influence the way I approach composition, materiality and spatial experience.
